Sunday Ribs from the OTP

Apparently I don’t have a freezer big enough to hold my meat, so I needed to create some room. Needs to be said that cooking and eating is much more fun than gathering nice pieces of meat in a freezer, so I choose the ribs.

Took them out of the freezer on saturday and removed the rib skin.

Cedar planked salmon

Sunday afternoon with friends. What’s not to like?

Valentine’s day BBQ diner

Saturday it was the 14th of February, and as you all know, that’s a beautiful day for people in love. Although we never ever join in into this extremely commercial festivity, it is a day to contemplate the love we have for eachother. Since I like BBQ and my wife has to cook every day, my love is expressed using the tools at hand, knowing a kitchen, some knifes, ingredients and a grill outside.

Dress the board Rib-Eye

This weekend we had an ‘official’ diner with friends and family and I wanted to do something special on the table. Thankfully I have my favorite chef Jamie standing by in the kitchen (as a book, not the real deal, of course).

I found the ‘dress the board‘ a very nice addition to the BBQ I already planned. The fun thing is that it’s super easy to do, but very tasteful and entertaining to serve.

Homemade burgers

Last weekend, we could officially say that is was time to do some burgers again. It’s been way too long and the kids were annoying me with the question as to when we were to do it again. It’s not really a punishment, since I like them a lot and it’s relatively simple to make.
